What is Cosplay World
Cosplay World Con is a premier cosplay-focused convention in Richmond, VA, hosting a big two day summer show and at least one holiday themed mini con annually within the state.
Founded by Jason Keith, an Eisner Award-nominated color artist with 15 years at Marvel Comics, and Kyle Kirkner, creator of Creative Cosplays Magazine, the convention attracts passionate cosplayers and crafters from across the region.

We feature 20+ Cosplay Guests from Around the Globe! A weekend full of workshops, demos and panels along with meetups on our main stage, plenty of photo ops, and music + games for the whole family to enjoy!

Jason Keith is an Eisner Award nominated color artist living in Richmond, Virginia. For the majority of the past 15 years he has colored exclusively for Marvel Comics, on titles such as The Avengers, Hulk, Wolverine, Amazing Spider-Man, Mighty Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ghost Rider, Ultimate Avengers, Star Wars and Darth Vader. After years of being a guest at comic cons around the world, Jason created COSPLAY WORLD for all his cosplaying friends.
Kyle Kirkner is owner and creator of Creative Cosplays Magazine that he started with his wife back in 2019. Creative Cosplays Magazine is a publication that has been showcasing the talent within the cosplay community since 2019. His background is in Graphic Design which he has been doing for over 15 years. A big-time nerd and longtime cosplayer himself, he is always looking for ways to get involved and help out the cosplay community.
